Under the capable management of Bill Thorp, who has over 30 years’ experience in the security industry, supported by his two sons Louis & Andrew and a committed team of professionals, Castle Security continues to provide a diverse range of security services to a varied and respected clientele.
Bill Thorp
CEO
Castle Security stalwart Bill is now almost a man of leisure, working part-time in the Castle Security office while he balances socialising, zooming around in his red sports car and taking overseas holidays, when he can.
Bill values his family, his community and his friends. He makes the most of any time he can spend with his family, which may be why his two(awesome) sons also work at Castle Security.
Fun Fact: Bill has never been paintballing – possibly because Louis would make him his target!
Louis Thorp
Director
When he’s not providing quotes to our clients or juggling the management of Castle Security, you can find Louis biking around Perth’s northern suburbs and getting involved in his local community.
Fun Fact: Louis claims to be giving up chocolate – for the umpteenth time – please direct any chocolate to the rest of the Castle Security team.
Andrew Thorp
Director
Andy is always on the go! Either in the office or out on site, he is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to the security industry!
When not working, Andy is a family man who loves to spend time with his little ones.
Fun Fact: Andy is a keen fisherman and recently lost his phone overboard while pulling in his catch.
Kien Nguyen
Head Technician
When you love your job as much as Kien does, it is not hard to see why he enjoys his career with Castle Security. Kien came into our team as an apprentice and thanks to his immaculate work ethic and keen interest in technology; we knew we had to keep him with us!
Kien loves Vietnamese food and holds family and honesty close to his heart.
Fun Fact: Kien loves to keep up to date with technology and always has the latest gadgets, gizmos and what-ya-call-its.
Gordon Harvey

Gordon is one of our whiz technicians that we are thrilled to have on board. A natural with today’s technology…if he doesn’t know something, it isn’t long before he has researched it and found an answer!
Fun Fact: When not working, Gordon is a hands on family man and enjoys getting outdoors at any chance.
